Description

Indulge in the ultimate homemade gummy bear experience with this quick and easy recipe. These soft, flavorful gummies are perfect for snacking, desserts, or sharing with the whole family.

Ingredients

– 1 cup fruit juice (e.g., apple, grape, or berry)

– 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– Food coloring (optional)

– Cornstarch for dusting

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan, combine the fruit juice and gelatin. Allow to bloom for 5 minutes.

2. Add the sugar and salt to the saucepan and heat over medium, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes.

3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the food coloring, if using.

4. Lightly grease a silicone gummy bear mold and dust with cornstarch. Carefully pour the gummy bear mixture into the mold, filling each cavity.

5. Refrigerate the mold for at least 2 hours, or until the gummies are firm.

6. Gently remove the gummies from the mold and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

For different flavor variations, try using different fruit juices or extracts. You can also experiment with adding extra toppings or coatings, such as sour sugar or a light dusting of cornstarch.
