Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet and spicy with this irresistible Hot Honey Chicken Bowl. Tender, juicy chicken is coated in a rich, honey-infused sauce that will have your taste buds dancing with delight.

Ingredients

– 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1/4 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Sriracha)

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 3 cups cooked white rice

– 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, honey, hot sauce, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the edges are crispy.

3. Serve the hot honey chicken over the cooked white rice, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For extra heat, feel free to add more hot sauce to the marinade. This dish also pairs well with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables.
