Description

Indulge in the savory delight of these Pork and Chive Potstickers (Crispy Skirt) – a quick and easy appetizer that will have your guests coming back for more! Tender pork, fragrant chives, and a perfectly crispy skirt make this dish a true crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground pork

– 1 cup finely chopped chives

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon sesame oil

– 1 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

– 1 package wonton wrappers

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chives, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and white pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture into the center of the wrapper.

3. Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a half-moon shape. Crimp and pleat the edges to seal the potsticker.

4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add the potstickers to the pan, flat-side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.

5. Carefully flip the potstickers and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the other side is crispy.

6. Serve the Pork and Chive Potstickers (Crispy Skirt) hot, with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

These potstickers can be made ahead and frozen for later use. To reheat, simply pan-fry them from frozen, following the same cooking method.
