Description

Indulge in the ultimate summer treat with these Strawberry Champagne Floats! Bursting with juicy strawberries and fizzy champagne, this quick and easy recipe is perfect for poolside sipping, backyard parties, or any occasion when you need a refreshing and decadent pick-me-up.

Ingredients

– 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 bottle (750ml) chilled champagne or sparkling wine

– 1 cup chilled club soda or seltzer water

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, gently muddle the sliced strawberries and sugar until the berries release their juices.

2. Divide the strawberry mixture evenly among 6 tall glasses or champagne flutes.

3. Top each glass with 3-4 ounces of chilled champagne, then top with 2-3 ounces of club soda or seltzer water.

4. Stir gently to combine.

5. Garnish each float with an additional strawberry slice and a mint sprig, if desired.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter float, increase the amount of sugar. You can also experiment with different types of berries or fruit. Store any leftover strawberry mixture in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and use it to make additional floats as desired.
