Description
Dive into the bold, Thai-inspired flavors of these saucy, sloppy joe sliders! Made with ground meat, soy sauce, and sriracha, these easy-to-assemble bites are perfect for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef or turkey
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons sriracha
– 1 tablespoon brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 12 slider buns, split in half
– Chopped green onions, cilantro, and crushed peanuts for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground meat until browned and crumbled, 5-7 minutes.
2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
3. Add the soy sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic powder. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
4. Spoon the Thai sloppy joe filling onto the bottom halves of the slider buns. Top with the top buns.
5. Garnish the sliders with chopped green onions, cilantro, and crushed peanuts, if desired.
Notes
These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of sriracha. Serve with a fresh salad or coleslaw for a complete meal.
